Steers BP Oasis — Restaurant in George

Kaaimans steers - been twice at night, was great. Went today at 15h00 and was awful. All five staff standing around, loitering and unfriendly. Till guy took my order (yelled them out before I was finished so everything was prepared at different times) of burgers, chips and milkshakes. Staff that handled the food had no gloves and can’t see where they clean their hands!!! Ew! First issue!!! Teller had to run around for change. Queue starts while I wait. Patties were taken out of a “warmer” filled with some saucey water concoction. I asked why they weren’t freshly made and was told it takes 7 minutes to make. I checked the patties - ice cold. Ew. No milkshakes being made because the guy at the till is the only one who can make them!! From his mouth. Queue is getting longer. I was not comfortable or confident in the hygiene of the place and the food! No shakes! Cancelled my order and went somewhere else! Horribly run and managed. Lacking in food hygiene....

Without question THE worst Steers (if fact of any fast food establishment) experience of my life. After asking what the wait time would be because we could see that they were quite busy (and we were in a hurry,) we were assured by the cashier that it would be a maximum of 20 min. After 30 min we were understandable irritated since we were on a tight schedule.after 40 min it became ridiculous and people who had ordered after us had already received their food.after communicating our frustrations we were were given blank apathetic stares with zero remorse or any indication of the status of our order. Enraged, we asked for the manager who was nowhere to be found, only for the owner of the establishment to finally be located. He had the decency to apologise and return our money, but we left hungry and angry. Horrible experience.untrained...

Sunday 15 Jan, arrived at the steers at 10:20 the morning. Ordered 2 rave burgers and 3 regulars chips. I was told the oil is not hot enough yet I will have to wait for the chips. Cashier was not able to put my order through for 2 rave burgers on the system even after asking other staff members to assist so I ended up leaving with nothing. This might be the worst Steers in South Africa. Fri 20 Jan, nice one suggesting to send my review to your website. It's a new branch and is not on the list so not really helping. Also I don't think you actually read my complaint, my complaint is not about the quality of the food but the fact that I did not get any...
