Mugg & Bean South Coast Mall — Restaurant in Hibiscus Coast Local Municipality

We came on holiday to enjoy some great food, thinking that the standard would be the same from what I know of mug n bean. Ordered drinks which came quickly, however when our meal arrived, I was disgusted but so hungry that I had to just eat it, my husband ordered a chicken burger which was served with literally 5 sweet potato fries for a disgusting High price, his chicken beasts were tough and too small. I had the asian coconut chicken,the veg was a tiny portion of what tasted like microwave leftovers from 2 days ago which waS cut up so small a baby couldn't even eat and unseasoned. My chicken was tough and dry and tasteless. My sauce was ice cold. I did not taste any coconut. Sorry to say that I won't be returning to mug n bean...

Their waiters are lovely. The view is devine and the food is to die for. Their coffee tastes fresher than most M&B's but I'm guessing that's only because it's by the coast. The setting is warm and cozy and amazing for photos. The lighting is perfect and the staff is very kind. The service is fast. It's also perfect for either a business meeting or a romantic date. The mall is not very busy accept if it's during summer vacations, so it's a nice environment to have a coffee by yourself. This is truly my favourite hangout place whenever we go to the South Coast. Shelly Beach... Jan 2020. Great decor but that's all we liked. Worst cheesecake I have ever had, sorry... (rubbery, lumpy and tons of strawberry jam). My hubby had a very dry piece of carrot cake. The new iced raspberry and passion drink we had was just too sweet.

Sorry guys but this standard of 'food' is unacceptable. It is expensive too. R171 for 2 drinks and 2 desserts. There are 2 other lovely privately owned homey places in the centre that have a high standard of both food and dessert and much...
