Steers Bridge City — Restaurant in KwaZulu-Natal

I’m extremely disappointed with the service I received at this Steers branch. I bought the Triple Cheese BBQ burgers (around R60 each), and the lady who helped us gave us the wrong order — burgers with bacon — even though we’ve never eaten bacon in our lives.

When I politely asked for a change, she was rude and insisted on just removing the bacon and returning the same burgers. She even accused me of being distracted on my phone and claimed that’s why I ordered bacon, which is completely untrue. I asked to check the cameras for proof, but she refused.

To make matters worse, I found hair on my plate, and the place looked dirty — it clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. I actually have proof of what happened, and what this staff member doesn’t know is that Steers is one of my clients. I’m seriously considering reporting this incident to the head office because this is unacceptable behaviour and does not reflect the Steers brand at all. I still have the slip and a picture of...

This restaurant deserves a one star. From the cashier who takes your order, who continue to speak to her colleague while you are infront of her. then she doesn't greet you and doesn't smile. To the one that is supposed to call order numbers, they simple ask the ones standing on the like the type of order that is ready if it's theirs. To the delay you've had waiting for that order. To the way they will defend themselves if you complain that your food is cold.

I'm extremely disappointed with the service I received at this restaurant. My chips were so cold and the leg piece was dry. It's like they did it on purpose. The only thing that was fresh were the burgers. I did not enjoy my lunch. I don't want a refund or new food I just want the staff to improve on their service and the quality of the food.
