Steers The Islands — Restaurant in Madibeng Local Municipality

I kept thinking....maybe they will learn, maybe things get better....but NOPE! Tonight was the 3rd time they forgot a portion of my order in past 2 months. 1st time they didn't send our milkshakes, had to ask a refund. 2nd time again they forget the milkshakes, so I ask a refund again, probably an hour later the driver pitches with the milkshakes to which I asked what I'm supposed ro do with milkshakes past 8 at night after the kids have gone to bed? Tonight they didn't send the cheese burger that was ordered for my son. They called back to say it is standing in the shop and offered to bring it when they have a driver again....again, what am I supposed to do with a cold burger after the kids have gone to bed? ...waiting for my refund now. And will find something else to treat the kids with cause clearly the steers idea is...

The "chef" prepared our 2 burgers without gloves,and did so in plain sight as the grill and kitchen are open plan. The fries were basically raw. We were the only people in there so they couldnt have been under much pressure. The staff are also very cold and dismissive and they cant wait to carry on with their personal conversations. The burgers ended up dry and pale and the whole experience left a bad taste due to them preparing them without gloves,which is disgusting.To top it off they gave us the wrong burgers as well, after we had to confirm our order twice due to them not having any interest in...

Had to wait 25 minutes for a one burger order. Bacon wasn't even warm. Burger waited 15 minutes on the shelf because they forgot to make the chips. Milkshake was made when the order was received and was a melted, watery mess. Totally disgusted with the expiditor, he really needs some training.

• I received an e-mail from management, apologising for this and was asked to follow a link to get in contact with them. The link didn't work but at least they tried. I will use Steers at The Islands again to see if it was a fluke as previous experiences...
