Arkansas Spur — Restaurant in Mbombela

There was no one at the entrance to welcome me and show me a table, that’s okay I saw a table and went to it. I was there for a meeting so I was waiting for the people I’m meeting to arrive, I waited 20-25 minutes. No waiter came to my table since I arrived. My guests came through, at the door they were welcomed and they pointed out they were joining someone, another 30 minutes into our meeting, no menus, no waiter. We had to stop ✋ a waitress to ask why are we not being attended to, she was nice enough to bring us the menu and take our orders. Few minutes down the line whilst we waiting for our orders, the very same waitress is carry a mop and a bucket 🪣 going to clean the toilets 🤮, afterwards she brought our food. This was very disgusting to witness! We were not sitting far from the smoking area, everytime the staff goes to the area, they leave the door wide open, as much as it closes itself but it takes long and doesn’t get fully closed so we had to inhale whatever was being smoked. Waitress never came to check on us since she brought our meals, she disappeared into thin air. It was even difficult to trace her because she never introduced herself so we can know her name and her name tag was inside her jersey. We asked for the bill, we were three, she brought it with only one tooth pick, we had to look for her again to asked for tooth picks. We wanted to pay and leave, she disappeared again, when we stood up wanting to go pay at the entrance and leave that’s when she popped up again and we had to pay whilst standing. I won’t mention her name because this is not a plan to get anyone in trouble, I’m just disappointed that Spur West End has become so relaxed about providing quality service. To the Spur staff and the owners We were saved by Lindelwa On 14/3/2025 I have been coming to this restaurant the past one week since I landed in Nelspruit and I have enjoyed every moment and every bit of your hospitality I live in Sydney Australia 🇦🇺 and I was on holiday visiting my daughter and my grandson, what a Fantastic restaurant The Food was is Tasty and Delicious I have never been at such a great restaurant for a long time. Well done and thanks The food is amazing I can’t express how much I enjoyed it every time I dined at this restaurant. My grandson is only 7 years but all he wanted was a huge steak, Pork and 1/2 of the chicken. I had a T-bone steak 🥩 the second day we went there and it was so delicious. Children’s play room was my highlight. The Staff are Fantastic everything about this Restaurant is amazing I don’t know how they do it but god Bless everyone involved I promise I will always come to this restaurant when ever I am in Nelspruit/Mbombela TO THE OWNER OF THE RESTAURANT I SALUTE YOU TO THE STAFF GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS 🫶🏻🫶🏻 I WILL BE BACK...

I don't want to say terrible, as the food is always delicious... But, the service, leaves much to be desired. Waiting to be seated with waiters passing you for 7 minutes(no one at reception), finally seating myself. Waitron for the table passing the table several times not stopping to assist. Assisted after 10 minutes. I must say very short waiting time for food(yes, food was delicious, as always), although the waitron never checked in during the meal to ask for refills, and then again 15+ minutes for waitron to attend to the table and requesting the bill. At that time I did not even ask for a take away, thinking it might take another 10+ minutes. No the resturant was not busy, as I sat looking for my waitron, he/she was mostly chatting with colleagues. Very nice restaurant, just...
