I would like to give my compliments to all your staffs at John Dorys Riverside , Nelspruit.

Everything was really kicked up a notch. Our Server , Xolile , was without a doubt, the most amazing server I have ever met, or ever had . She was attentive but not overbearing.  Quick, but not too quick that we ever felt rushed.  And, most importantly, she was incredibly kind and courteous.

Xolile , and Manager Precious made us feel right at home. They clearly have a passion for what they do.  Both of them are of great assets to the company and hope they can be treasured and groomed well in the future. Please convey my thanks and appreciation to these wonderfull ladies!

The food was spectacular and superd . Truly Magnificent! The Chef prepared our dinner to perfection!!! The Sushi is the best in the area and the rest of the menu is outstanding.!!!

My family has been coming to this restaurant for many years, and we keep coming back for one simple reason, the food is that good. It's one of those places that consistently delivers quality and flavour, and it’s become a bit of a tradition for us.

One small detail I really appreciate is their Coke, which comes in a glass bottle, and the taste is just different (in the best way). It’s a small touch, but it adds to the overall experience.

I do wish they would bring back the salmon thermidor, it was one of my all-time favourites.

The service is solid and professional, always a pleasant experience. My only real complaint is the sushi. Unfortunately, it falls short in terms of flavour, portion size, and presentation. Compared to everything else on the menu, it feels like an afterthought.

From the moment we walked in, we felt warmly welcomed — and that was only the beginning of an amazing dining experience! The atmosphere was vibrant, clean, and inviting, but what truly made our visit exceptional was the outstanding service from our waitress Angel.

She truly lives up to her name — friendly, attentive, and incredibly professional. Angel ensured our drinks were always topped up, and checked in regularly without being intrusive. Her smile and genuine care turned an ordinary meal into something truly memorable.

The food? Fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The sushi was perfectly rolled, the seafood was cooked to perfection, and every bite was a delight. Compliments to the kitchen staff as well!
