Col'Cacchio Meadowridge — Restaurant in Meadowridge

I ordered 2 Cobb salads and two pizzas via UBER Eats at 18:20 this evening. The order wasnt ready by 19:00 so i called thr restaurant to find out when it would be done. The lady ( i think it was Yvonne ) told me that my order was done and its the uber drivers who wait for multiple orders and this is why my delivery hasnt taken place yet. She outright blamed the driver and told me that he will leave now to dropp it off. Fast forward anothrr hour and i called the restaurant again. Tgis time, a gentleman answered and told me that the pizza dough machine wasnt working and that none of the staff knew about it. My order was nowhere near ready. When asked why thr first lady didnt tell me that an hour ago, he said that the staff didnt know about it. The staff have no problem lying to customers and its shameful that they would blame the poor Uber driver for their own lack of professionalism.

I cancelled the order after 2 hours and 20mins. I will never order from this restaurant again. Its not the first time that something like this has happened either.

Good food but terrible service. Waitress named "Wishes" is the most inattentive server ever. She never once had a smile on her face, she forgot to bring the parmesan condiment and upon asking for it, she just plonked it down on the table. Not even putting it into the saucer with the other two condiments. She never once came to ask how our meal was going, she never asked if we would like some sauces with our pizzas, she never once asked if we wanted more drinks, she never asked if we wanted dessert. The only time she was moderately nice is when I went to pay the bill, she probably expected a nice tip, but I don't reward poor service. I actually ALWAYS tip, even for subpar/average service, but this was just a step too far. I understand we're all human and have bad days but there's a level of professionalism to be held. I would like to highly commend the initiative and service from Ntampu Pax at Meadowridge Col Cochios. I made a booking for May 20 for 11 people at 8.30pm. She contacted me and asked me if we could come earlier, because the kitchen closes at 9pm. I explained that we were attending a dance show at Bergvliet High and that finished at 8.15pm, so getting everyone changed and out meant we could only get there at 8.30pm. I asked if she thought I should cancel? She said definitely not, if I could just get everyone's orders to her, she would ensure that they were ready at 8.30pm. I was a bit dubious that it would work. But it went like a great dream - all 11 orders were ready, all the staff were efficient and friendly and had the orders organised by name for each individual. They even asked us if we would like to order dessert before the kitchen closed. She is a real asset. This type of service culture is what we need more...
