Wimpy — Restaurant in Mogale City Local Municipality

Wimpy Lifestyle Centre Little Falls. I got to Wimpy in Little Falls at 5pm to sit in with my son. I was approached by Thandile who told me they are about to close. I asked him why is the Simeon the 6pm , he said the kitchen closes at 5.15pm and he suggests I order takeaway. I told Thandile that I was looking forward to enjoy a sit down meal with my son and he insisted that they are closing soon and a takeaway is advisable. I told him if that's the case I'll eat speedingly as I promised my son some time to play in the kids area. Upon sitting down the staff started deep cleaning. The cleaning chemicals were too strong. I'm not sure if this was a way to get me to realize that they really wanted to close shop. After 5min of the deep cleaning and feeling defeated I told them to make my meal a takeaway. There was no way I would allow my 2 year old son to inhale such strong chemicals and I didn't know that staff can clean around our tables while dining. So clearly they got the victory and I left. My request to Wimpy please don't put up a 6pm closing time if you actually closing at 5.15pm. Worst...

NO STARS!!!!!!! Wimpy SA Noordheuwel Bell Street, what a disappointment! Seeing one after the other table canceling their orders and walking out with a lot of frustration, we thought shame man, we could see they really busy, under staffed and it's chaos in the kitchen with the system being down. We had no problem waiting for over an hour, during this hour the waiter did not check up on us once, she just didn't have enough hands to cope with everyone. At last, our food is served, I've never seen such a blant plate of food and on top of that ICE COLD. No management present, no assistance from the owners, no back up plan. Contacted the owner, rejected the calls with a automated response saying I can't talk right now. We responded saying - "just so you know... Your staff can't cope at the moment, maybe you should be here to assist", his F U response, "Thanks for letting me know, I am checking in with my Manager. That's my decision, thanks for your concern. Have a good day"

What was supposed to be an enjoyable Sunday breakfast, ended up being a horrible experience! We were not greeted by the door or seated by a staffember or waitress. We had to just walk in and seat ourselves. Not enough staff. Took very long to take our order. Everything came the opposite of what we asked for. Waitress was rude and incompetent. Fellow clients also complained about their food and the lack of service. They did not even have wet wipes. Will never go to this branch...
