Roman's Pizza N1 City — Restaurant in N1 City

Romans pizza n1 city value Centre Horrible experience. Ordered the double deal special. Chicken and chips and a salami supreme. Both tasted to horrible which we only realised on Chapmans peak drive. Both were dry and absolutely flavour less! Luckily the kids wanted KFC. Which we had to use their tomatoe sachets and chilli salt to put on pizza to make it better. Yet, still unable to eat it. Dry, flavour less, not even salt! Everything on salami supreme raw. Onions, peppers, mushrooms all alive and tasted freshly cut and to top it off. Flavour less. Chicken and chips? Wow. Frozen chips definitely used before putting in oven resulting in the chips being raw and soggy. Never...

Firstly they don't give serviettes only if you ask, secondly the staff stand and fold boxes whilst they see there is customers at the till. Lastly I ordered 3 pizzas the 2 came then there were several customers after me who was helped their pizzas came 3 at a time. Whilst I was standing and waiting for my 1 pizza I was number 16 and they helped number 18 who ordered way after me and I was waiting for 1 pizza.

I would like a health check to be done at this place because they prepare the pizzas with bare hands no gloves on whatsoever cheese and topping are being touched with bare hands and its put on our pizzas we order. How disgusting is that they must use gloves...

This was the worst Romans pizzas I've ever had.

Firstly, no flavor, they skimped on tomatoes sauce they usually have on the pizzas as a base. I've bought from numerous outlets in Joburg and they always had lots of tomatoe or chilli sauce on their pizzas. Then the meats on the pizzas were not that good at all. Compared to Joburg outlets the salami was Vienna sized etc. The flavor was not good either.

Here, Romans as a Franchiser has let their Franchisees down in terms of quality of the final product.
