Complaint Regarding Discontinued Happy Meals Notification
Dear McDonald's,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding a recent discovery I made at my local McDonald's restaurant. As a loyal customer for many years, I have always appreciated the convenience and enjoyment that Happy Meals brought to my visits. However, I was shocked to learn that McDonald's has discontinued the Happy Meal option without notifying its customers beforehand.
This sudden change has caused significant inconvenience to myself and many other loyal patrons who have come to rely on the availability of Happy Meals for our children. It is deeply disappointing to see such an iconic and cherished part of the McDonald's experience quietly removed from the menu without any prior announcement or explanation.
As a parent, I have often chosen McDonald's over other fast-food options precisely because of the Happy Meal's appeal to children. The toys and child-friendly portions not only made mealtime enjoyable but also contributed to the overall positive experience of dining at McDonald's. To suddenly find out about this change while placing an order was not only surprising but also frustrating, as it left me in a difficult position with my child who had been eagerly anticipating their Happy Meal.
I strongly believe that McDonald's owes its loyal customers an explanation for this decision and should have communicated the change in advance through its marketing channels or at least through signage in stores. This lack of transparency and consideration for customers is unacceptable, especially considering the brand's longstanding commitment to customer satisfaction and family-friendly dining.
I kindly request that McDonald's address this issue promptly by reconsidering how changes to menu offerings are communicated to customers in the future. Additionally, I would appreciate if you could provide me with any insights into whether the Happy Meal might return in some form or if there are alternative options available that cater to families with young children.
Thank you for taking the time to read my concerns. I look forward to your prompt response and a resolution to this...
Read moreWent to Mcdonalds yesterday and all i wanted was fresh Fries that's it. Placed order and food arrived not even five minutes later which left us a bit confused as they just mentioned they needed to make more fries so how were they done already. Decided to ignore it and tried the fries and much to our expectation the fries were colder than the burger and tasted stale/old. We tried calling one of the employees to the table and after a few Minutes one came by and after explaining the situation she went back to the manager. We waited about 10-15mins before one of my friends tried to talk to the manager which then told her that it was due to us having a conversation before eating even though my friend said we tried the fries and then tried calling the employee only to be ignored so of course we started speaking to each other since we are friends. After waiting another 10-15mins hoping the manager would come speak to us nothing happened again and my friend and i decided to go back and after explaining the fries we old, cold and stating we literally just want fresh fries and will gladly give there old fries back (as well as saying i want to cry because I'm pregnant and just want fresh fries) they eventually brought fresh fries.
As someone who's main job is handling clients and has been going there for months with no prior problems this upset me as all we wanted as fresh fries without an extra serving...
Read moreI ordered 2 nazo meals Quater pounder deluxe with Coke zero no ice. I was served by Aviwe Limkhita Rixi on Monday 05/06/2023 at 19:22:50.
When my wife and I arrived home I took out our burger boxes and on it read Quater pounder with cheese. My wife's burger had cheese on it and my burger had no cheese on it. Both our burger boxes didn't have any black sticker on it which promotes the 100% taste and 100% quality.
We went back to McDonald's at Pelican Park and ask them where my cheese was. They responded that the Nazo meals don't have cheese on the Quater pounder deluxe burgers. Clearly the staff made a mistake and they refused rudely to give me a Quarter pounder with cheese and demanded that I pay for the cheese to which I responded I won't because it was the franchise's mistake. Various McDonald's workers then proceeded to argue with me instead of sorting out the problem and just replacing my burger. I then demanded to have my burger and refused to let them waste my time any further. They agreed after arguing with me for what seemed to be 10 minutes to replace the Quater Pounder deluxe burger but they refused to give me the Quater pounder with cheese which I originally received from them.
I'm disgusted at the appalling attitude and behaviour of the incompetent staff at Pelican Park...
