Very Disappointing Experience at Gull n Bell Bar

As we packed up our things after a relaxing weekend on the West Coast, we decided to stop for one last sundowner before heading back to Cape Town. While refueling at the Total station, we noticed the quaint little bar on the same premises — Gull n Bell — and thought it might be the perfect final stop to end our trip on a good note.

Unfortunately, that was not the case. The moment we walked in, it became very clear that something was off. What we can only assume were the staff members — two older ladies and a young gentleman — were all visibly intoxicated, shouting across the bar, running back and forth, and at one point even offering “gummies” to guests. It was loud, chaotic, and extremely unprofessional.
