Beautifull place , limited Parking, looks like they are short of staff , was quit dissapointed , didnt wait so long for our food, however food was given without table setting , after we ask for cutlery , we had to wait , food was cold when the cutlery came eventually ,was seated at a dirty table that was not even cleaned after we were seated, we sat for more then an hour and the tables around us was dirty and also not cleaned for the entire hour we sat there which is disgusting for such a beautiful place. The food was OHk , we had the grilled calamari, was a bit overcooked and not seasoned well, one friend had the Pizza he said it was quit nice , the waiter forced their "famous" bar one cheesecake on us , it was terrible , only melted chocolat over the plain cheesecake that didnt taste like bar one at all , and the slice is much to small for the price of it , the malva pudding can taste, it was re heated in the microwave , was sticky and chewy . The winetasting area looks more oraganised and clean . Restaurant just needs more attention and proper staff/ staff...
Read moreAs we were planning on doing a tasting at J.C Le Roux we decided to start off with a breakfast at Giovannis which is located just above the J.C. Le Roux tasting room. Their outside area also has a playground right next to it for the kids to play while the parents relax. For breakfast they have a couple of dishes available so you’re likely to find something to your taste, and while we had some coffee with our breakfast they also have J.C. Le Roux's sparkling wines and mimosas available as well. We were quite a big table and had little kids with us, and the waiter handled it perfectly and was very attentive. As I have visited a Giovanni's before I know they specialize in pizzas etc (which are very good) however I can say that they also do...
Read moreLovely setting and very hospitable service but unfortunately the 2of us ordered pasta dishes. Looked a bit stodgy accepted. The one was the chicken breast with white sauce. It looked completely different and tasted terrible. The sauce was so thick that it was difficult to eat as the noodles were stuck together. Definitely a powdered sauce which was not fit for human consumption. I had a pasta with mushroom and ham. Similar situation. Could not eat due to a tang like cream of tarter overdose often found in scones. What a shame. Told the waiter but all we got was a reply that the Cheff thought he was joking as he was very busy! Definitely going to put out this review……..the worst pastas we have...
