I’d like to raise a concern about my recent takeaway order from your M&B landside (Cape Town Int Airport)location on 03 November 2025

I placed a takeaway order which took quite some time to be prepared. When I arrived, I waited again as no one initially attended to me, and I had to approach several employees before my order was finally handed over.

When I returned to the office and opened my meal, I discovered that my wings were missing — I only received chips. I tried calling the store but got no response. I then had to go back in person, which took even more of my time.

This experience was very disappointing, especially as I ended up spending much of my day trying to sort out my order and didn’t even get to eat...

I think there should be a sign that tells black people to enter at their own risk. I saw a post from 6 months ago where another black person was complaining about being ignored. We experienced the same thing. What's worse, Lawrence walked past us several times and then, when white customers came to sit next to us, it didn't even take him 5 minutes to ask if they were assisted. Funny thing is that they didn't even buy anything. Don't get me started on Shepherd!!! Three times he was called to tend to us and he refused. Thank God for Caroline, she managed to give a good service. My advice, if you don't want to pay to be treated badly as a black person, stay away...

Our server did his best, but he was not our server. At first, he was going to give our order to "our server." He ended up providing all of our service. Neither of us received what we ordered. My companion ordered butternut squash soup with sourdough bread. She received corn chowder with rye. I ordered a summer nourish salad with lettuce, hummus, and sourdough bread. I received a salad with no lettuce or hummus, but a lot of Kashi instead. I had to ask again for the bread. The food was tasty even though not what we ordered.
