Steers Table Bay Mall — Restaurant in Western Cape

I have been to this steers twice, the first time was for a meal, it was fairly decent considering it was peak hour & they were busy. My second visit was most regretful to say the least! All I wanted was one of steers famous caramel dipped ice cream cones which I had not had in a long time.... I was the only customer there, wth 3 ladies behind the counter of which non rushed to serve me. I waited a long few minutes, then giving my order I was given what, I term a disappointment? The ice cream has been down sized (including the cones) the soft serve was half chilled which means it's more liquidy then ice cream. The caramel was runny & barely got hard on the soft serve due to lack of freeze. It was coated so thinly u cud still see the actual ice-cream. Considering it was some of the hottest days of the year, it would stand to think the manager follow up to check the liquid is poured into the machine the night before to freeze sufficiently.... Oh did I mention I got there around brunch time... So not too early in the day & it wasn't at the end of the day to say they got sold out of soft serve deserts? To add to all of that dissatisfaction the cone was so stale..... Noooo Steers.... This is not up to...

I ordered here a few times but this time will be the last. They got my order wrong 3 times in a row and if you phone they are so rude. The food arrives cold every single time. The last round they messed everything up and again all burgers was cold. When I phoned they were happy to replace but again it came cold. They then wanted to collect the food that was wrong and when they phoned for that the manager was extremely rude and acted as if I stole from them also just put the phone down in my ear. When the driver collected the bad food he just stared at me, very unprofessional. Not once I got a sorry. Horrible experience at Steers Table Bay Mall. I am surprised you are still in business with this horrible attitude when you are in the wrong. You won’t see...

Terrible service. I have been to this Steers once before and received awful service. Today was the same story. I even thought to myself, "let me order online so it doesn't take a long time"

I get to the store and ask about my collection. Two ladies looked at me, acknowledged i was there and then decided it wasnt their problem and ignored me whilst the third was serving customers in the queue. I thought the whole slogon and promotion for ordering online is the ability to skip the queue when pressed for time.

I had to wait for 10 minutes until all 3 people before me were served, whilst watching my meal get colder and colder.

Stick to the Burger King next door. They also do a Wednesday...
