I had heard so much about this bakery, I was looking forward to having a pleasant coffee and some pastries. First impressions great, lovely relaxed environment with classical music playing in the background. Surprised however that at 12:30 the places was totally empty.
From here things went downhill. The Chocolat croissant looked amazing but was so dry it tasted stale. Likely baked at a lower heat too long or not enough butter (or oil). The cappuccino was well made by the staff but uses cinnamon on top and not chocolate. Not what I was after at all. The Madeleine was however decent but not as light and buttery as expected, or as good as other bakeries in the area. I have not tasted the baguette which looks fine, but no crispiness in the crust at all.
Don't order a smoothy unless you want to be deafened by their blender. It did however taste very nice.
