문스시 — Restaurant in Busan

This restaurant is 5-10minute drive from Haeundae Beach. We had a KRW55,000 (c. USD50) omikase and a la carte course for lunch. We brought our own wine. Corkage was KRW20,000 which given the prices of wine in Korea was a decent rate. Very good value for money sushi. We were allocated a private room with a floor table. I cannot sit on the floor due to a past accident and they kindly asked another group of customers who were earlier seated at a table and they kindly agreed to swap. Service was of top quality. This restaurant also has branches at Shinsegae Department store in Busan. When we finished, it was raining quite heavily and we could not get a taxi. They then had one of their employees drive us to our hotel. I travelled to many places in the world but this was a genuinely a very kind gesture which apparently they do on a regular basis for visitors when taxis are difficult to get by. All in all, a very good value for money experience in a more local neighborhood not too far...

One of the best sushi places in busan. Although you can find much more budget friendly sushi options, this place is the most luxury experience for the price. I am quite a critic, and I feel that the food was made very Passingly, but overall good in quality. If your having a date or impressing somebody, go ahead. If you want amazing taste and good value, go somewere else; 50bucks per person is...

'스' 메뉴로 가족들과 함께 저녁식사를 했습니다. 급하게 예약하느라 룸은 없었고 테이블에서 식사했습니다.

식사를 내어오시기 전에 메뉴 확인을 먼저 해주시고 서빙을 시작하셨습니다.

저는 식사를 하는 내내 제 식기들에서 비릿한 향이 조금씩 계속 나서 아주 살짝 신경이 쓰였으나, 해물을 취급하는 식당이니 이상한점은 아니라고 생각하고 식사를 했습니다.(가족들은 아무 이상 없었다고 합니다.)

음식은 굉장히 좋았습니다. 메인 스시가 나오기전 입맛을 돋구기 위한 에피타이저부터 마무리 디자트 까지 구성은 매우 다채롭고 좋았습니다. 다만 맛에 대해서는 개인적으로 단맛이 많은 편이고 간이 강하다고 느꼇습니다. 간이 강하다는게 짜다는 의미가 아니라 짜지 않은 선에서 그 정도가 강하다인데.. 설명하기 어렵네요. 제가 기대 했던 음식은 간이 약하고 재료의 본질을 강조한 듯한 느낌이어서 그렇게 느꼇을 지도 모르겠습니다. 스시는 기름진 단계와 조리 방식을 구분하여 3pcs씩 제공 되었으며 회의 씹는식감이 좋도록 약간 두꺼운 느낌이었습니다. 매번 음식이 제공될때 마다 서버분께서 음식 설명을 해주셔서 좋았습니다.

마지막 식사메뉴로 우동을 선택했는데, 단맛과 감칠맛이 강하여 대체적으로 맛있었습니다.

총평으로는 전체적으로 음식이 단맛이 강한 느낌이라 개인적으로는 단맛이 조금 덜했으면 했습니다.

큰문제는 아니지만 식기들과 테이블위의 물건들을 좀 더 신경써서 닦아주셨으면...
