Our stay at the Ramada Encore Haeundae in Busan was overall a positive experience, with its excellent location being a standout feature. Situated directly by a metro station and just a few minutes' walk from the picturesque Haeundae Beach, it serves as an ideal base for exploring Busan. The close proximity to a plethora of restaurants and a Night Food Market further enriches the experience. A special mention goes to the HOME Bistro, which serves delicious vegetarian dinners at fair prices starting from 5:00 PM – truly a hidden gem! We opted for a corner suite, and it couldn't have been a better choice. The view from our room on the top floor was simply breathtaking, a real feast for the eyes. The bed was comfortable, and the daily provision of two complimentary bottles of water in the room was much appreciated. However, not everything was perfect. The sofa in our room unfortunately had undefined, older stains, and the coffee table seemed to have seen better days – its surface was patchy and faded. Despite these minor flaws that slightly marred the overall impression, our stay for the two nights was quite pleasant. The friendly service at check-in deserves a special mention, making our stay pleasant right from the start. In summary, I would say that the Ramada Encore Haeundae is definitely recommendable for a short stay in Busan, particularly due to its outstanding location and good value for money. We would definitely book it again for...
Read moreThe hotel itself was good and the location was close to a lot of restaurants but the front staff ruined the trip for us.
We traveled with our 7 month old who happened to throw up milk on the bed. We called the front desk to ask for a change of sheets around 6pm and they told us housekeeping was gone for the day which was fine so we asked for some spare sheets to change ourselves and they told us they did not have any spare sheets. I asked my mom to physically go downstairs to ask as this seemed unreasonable for a 25 story hotel to not have a single spare bedsheet and they finally sent someone up with spare sheets.
They kicked us out of the lobby when they saw we were playing card games and told us there was no games allowed in the lobby. This is the only hotel that we stayed at in Korea that apparently does not allow games in the common spaces. We are traveling as a group after all and maybe a vacation rental is better than hotels since they're so unaccommodating.
The same mean lady who kicked us out for playing cards in the lobby, called the room to rudely tell us to leave and hung up on me when I explained we requested late check out the night before, which was granted with no problems.
The cleaning staff was friendly but the front desk staff were terrible. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay because of...
Read morebooked this for my 4 nights busan trip. one of the good location in busan as it's near haeundae beach. however, that's the only good thing about the hotel, and I would recommend you to look for any other hotels if you want to enjoy busan. first, the lifts are a nightmare to deal with - slow and stops at every floors during peak hours. secondly, staff attitude is rather unpleasant. while there are one or two staff who are pleasant, our encounter with most of the staff are met with dismissive attitudes and unwillingness to provide any help. huge turn off in this regard if you care about guest experience. thirdly, they are willing to save on air-conditioning. was informed that no air-conditioning, probably the outside temperature is reasonably cold. but the room temperature is very stuffy. with opened windows, you can get some cold air in but good luck with all the noise in the streets.
I will not book another stay with them, and I strongly recommend the same to anyone who is researching for your...
