Bapsang — Restaurant in Busan

After showing the waitress a card displaying my serious fish and seafood allergies (written in Korean - which worked in every other single establishment in Korea), she assured me multiple times that none of the meals they served us would contain fish or seafood. Finding out that the soup did in fact contain seafood (picture attached) was shocking and their inability to accommodate allergies needs to be written about. We didn't continue eating the food and they did not have us paying for it, however, very reluctantly. Also there were no apologies for (potentially knowingly)...

Loved the han-jeongsik (table d’hote) style of dining here. Prices were very worth it, for W9,000 (per pax) you get 3 mains, rice, soup and many refillable banchan sides. The mackerel radish stew was a favourite of ours. Also loved that it is open all hours of the day. Super conveniently located in Seomyeon....

Loved this place, especially because I did not know what I was going to get and certainly it exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it. Best of all is that I was the only foreigner, they are definitely missing out. The price and taste...
