Three Monkeys — Restaurant in Busan

I was so disappointed in this craft beer venue! I was eager to visit Three Monkeys because it was described in the reviews as having reasonable prices, a rooftop area, and popcorn. I saw NONE of those. The rooftop was closed (on a gorgeous summer evening... perhaps it's no longer an option at all?); the popcorn seems reserved for parties of 2 or more (as a solo visitor, I got a few tortilla chips and cold, fake "nacho" cheese), and a beer that cost 7,000 KRW for 330 ml. The beer, a Three Monkeys IPA, was very tasty, but definitely not worth 7,000 won. The menu options seemed similarly overpriced (but to be fair, I didn't try them... because they seemed overpriced). Was very quiet when we went in on sunday evening but the music was quite loud and basketball was on the big TV so it wasn't uncomfortable. The beers were so good we wouldn't have minded any discomfort anyway! The Bad monkey porter was absolutely delicious, white ale was really nice and even though it says vanilla on the tap, wasn't sweet or that vanillary just super tasty. The Malty ale was more like a regular IPA and very drinkable but very similar to the Red monkey which was just a but more hoppy and supposedly stronger at 6.5%, however it was very sessionable so watch out 😉 If you are looking for qood, well made beer at reasonable prices then go here and get your fill.
