Bungle Bungle steamed ribs — Restaurant in Daegu

Bungle Bungle was recommended in a little Daegu guidebook I purchased. I was visiting a nearby museum and decided to have lunch there. Ordered the Korean spicy ribs with rice. You also get bowls with various veg and salad sides as part of the order. I got a hearty portion of tasty ribs; nicely spiced without the heat overpowering everything. Mixing the rice up with the hot sauce is the way to go here and absolutely delicious. We were recommended to try Galbi-Jin (spicy beef ribs) by some local friends while we were visiting Daegu. 2024년 2월 11일 점심때 방문했습니다. 입장 당시에 자리가 없어 웨이팅이 있었으나, 착석 후에는 단체손님이 빠지신건지 홀은 조금 한산해 보였습니다.

그런데.. 손님에 비해 직원은 충분히 많으신 것 같던데.. 직원 분들이 대부분 너무 정신없으시고 뭔가 화가 난듯한 상태였네요..

주문 시 벨도 없어서 직접 육성으로 점원을 불러 주문을 해야 했는데, 몇 차례 불러서 겨우 한 분 오셨습니다. 이후 추가 주문 시에도 마찬가지 였구요..

매운 찜갈비와 일반 찜갈비 각각 주문하였는데 어느 게 매운 찜갈비인지 직원들 돌아가며 보셔도 아무도 모르시고.. 양도 각각 3인분 씩 주문했는데 차이가 좀 나더군요.. 더 길게 얘기하면 싸움만 날 것 같아 대충 먹고 일어났습니다.

게다가 마무리 할 때 계산 할 때 금액도 틀리시고.. 소주는 단 한 병도 시키지 않았는데 소주 세 병이 추가됐다 하시지를 않나.. 소주 세 병 추가해도 각 5,000원씩 15,000원인데, 16,000원이 차이나지를 않나.. 신기한 계산법이었습니다.

이 모든 불만에 대표로 나서서 사과 하시는 분은 단 한 분도 안 계시다는 게 신기하고 이런 가게가 어떻게 100년 가게로 지정 된건지도 궁금합니다.

대표님께서 이 글을 보신다면 직원분들 교육을 좀 진행하시고 사기를 높일 수 있는 방안에 대해 충분히...
