We had a fantastic experience at this small BBQ restaurant in 둔산동, which stood out for its commitment to quality by offering only the top five cuts of meat: 삼겹살 (pork belly), 목살 (pork neck), 갈매기살 (skirt meat, their signature cut), 차돌박이 (brisket), and 눈꽃살 (premium marbled beef). Among these, we especially enjoyed the 갈매기살, which was impressively lean yet satisfyingly chewy, offering a great balance of texture and flavor. The restaurant also had a unique touch with its house-made dipping sauce and grilled 백김치 (white kimchi), which added a rich, tangy contrast to the smoky, savory meat. To complement our meal, we ordered 계란찜 (steamed egg), which was light, fluffy, and a perfect side dish to balance out the heavier grilled meats.
The overall experience was exceptional—not only because of the high-quality meat selection but also due to the warm, inviting atmosphere and excellent service. The price was also incredibly reasonable, something that would be hard to find in the U.S. for this level of quality. I’d definitely love to revisit and explore more...
