I initially called this place because I wanted to treat my relatives to a nice dinner while I was in town apartment hunting. The restaurant has a policy of requiring a 10,000 KRW deposit for parties larger than 5, along with pre-ordering your meal in advance. I’ve been to many fine dining places, so I understand the reasoning behind it.
However, since I’m not a Korean resident, I wasn’t able to pay the deposit in advance. To work around that, we ended up narrowing our group to 4 people and I took the other two out for dinner separately the next day.
I especially wanted to bring my aunt here because she had been craving steak, and this seemed like one of the few proper steakhouses in Daejeon. The restaurant itself is modern and stylish, with thoughtful details—like the plating and overall ambiance—that give it a refined touch.
The staff were friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Everything we ordered was delicious, but the standout for me was the burrata salad—probably one of the best I’ve had. The herb pesto and 30-year balsamic were so flavorful that my mom and I are still talking about it days later.
The shrimp rose pasta was cooked al dente, and the sauce was creamy but not heavy—rich in flavor without feeling overly indulgent.
I didn’t try the Hanwoo T-bone steak myself, but judging by how quickly my aunt finished it, I’d say it hit the spot. The asparagus was also perfectly cooked and seasoned.
They also serve complimentary ciabatta with butter, and the butter was so good I ate it on its own. It was that flavorful!
I’d definitely come back again, especially for the salad, and would love to try some of the other dishes next time. A great spot for a special occasion—or just a nice evening out.

Read more티본 스테이크가 12만원. 음... 그래 이정도 할 수 있지. 더군다나 드라이에이징까지 시켰다면 뭐.. 그런데 이게 왠걸. 안심 한점을 입에 넣었지만 아무런 감흥이 없어서...읭?하게 된다. 잠깐만 그래도 채끝은 다르겠지....읭? 고기는 꽤나 부드러운 편인 것이 좋은 고기를 쓴 것 같으나, 드라이에이징을 한게 맞는지는 의문이다. 에이징을 거친 것이 이런 맛이라면 차라리 에이징을 하지 말고 짧은 숙성만을 거쳐서 내는편이 단가를 낮추는데 도움이 될 것 같을 정도. 아무런 감칠맛이나 숙성된 향이 나질 않는다. 그리고 굽기를 어떻게 했기에 겉에 분명히 탄 흔적은 있음에도 구운 향이 약한지 잘 이해되지 않는다. 같이 나오는 가니쉬들은 좋은 재료로 맛있게 익혀 나오지만, 세트 구성에 따라오는 새우는 없느니만 못하다. 오히려 메인의 격을 한층 더 떨어트린다. 그리고 기름진 고기임을 고려했을때, 가니쉬는 기름에 쩔게 볶지 말고 그냥 굽기만 했으면 덜 느끼하지 않을까 생각된다. 가격은 일류 수준이나 고기의 맛은 프렌차이즈 레스토랑보다 조금 나은 수준....다시 갈...
