Bossa Nova Coffee Roasters Gangneung Branch — Restaurant in Gangneung-si

Bossa Nova is a beautifully designed café with multiple levels, each offering a unique vibe and view. The highlight is definitely the rooftop, where cozy cabanas provide the perfect spot to sit back and marvel at the stunning sea view.

We ordered the Bossa Nova Milk Tea, Milk Cocoa, and a beautiful pastry (see photo). The drinks were excellent—smooth and flavorful—but the pastry, while visually appealing, was a bit dry and lacked the depth of flavor we were hoping for.

Each floor offers a slightly different perspective of the ocean, and the top floor even features a room with beanbags to sit on, adding a fun and relaxing twist to the experience.

We love beaches and coffee / tea shops, and this was the perfect combo of both. Situated on street full of coffee shops, along the beach, this shop has the top roof terrace that we loved and ended up having all to ourselves. (it was a cold November day, so there weren't that many people visiting the beach). We loved the calm atmosphere and the coffee and pastries. We had our warm coats on, and bundled up on the rooftop while looking out at the beautiful sea.

There was plenty of seating. One thing to note is that the workers couldn't really communicate in English. We had to just point at the item we wanted. Once you get your food, you just go to where you want to seat. Not much of a service to be expected, but we came here for the amazing views...

Nice view and crisp interior. The coffee, on the other hand, is completely a joke, tastes like water. If you really want coffee not water around the area, it would be better off getting $1.50 coffee from 7-Eleven or GS25 instead of wasting $5 here.
