Heyheyhey — Restaurant in Gyeongju-si

There is such a nice vibe about the place. With the big windows, giving a beautiful view onto the tumuli tombs, it is so pleasant to sit outside and just... enjoy. They have delicious, properly sour, sour beers (at the moment cherry and raspberry), the food is delicious, the staff is friendly and seemed happy to speak in English to me. The music is good, and there's this feeling that this is a place where people go back again and again. Everybody is greeted happily. Just good vibes. Will go back during my stay...

Arrived around 4.45pm on a sunny Saturday afternoon in September. The place was already really busy which was no mean feat given that it had opened only 15 mins before!

Great atmosphere (suspect this is as much to do with the manager as the venue itself) and the beers were good too - we tried one of the Korean IPAs available on draught.

Great selection of salty snacks I.e. crisps, nuts etc to have with your beers.

I think this is the only craft beer bar in town, but you couldn't ask for a better one. Lovely place, excellent beers, great views, and very friendly staff (who recommended me the best jjimdak in Daegu). We didn't eat there, but food was prepared with care and looked good. They also organise the local beer festival in September - hope it went well, I wish we could...
