I highly recommend a meal at Toulon - it is the sweetest restaurant, so full of character and charm, & the staff are so accommodating and lovely. And, of course, the main aspect, the food…oh my goodness, it is FANTASTIC! Everything is cooked to perfection, exquisitely flavoured and beautifully presented. What a wonderful spot - it’s up on the second floor so you have to go in what looks like an apartment building and use the elevator. Mellow music, views of the city, attentive staff and wonderful food. I had the duck steak with salad and a potato “cake” that was sliced paper thin and cooked perfectly.
