What we ordered: Burrata appetizer: execution was plain. Not enough umami or salt. Shrimp tomato pasta: I asked if this was their take on shrimp scampi, they confirmed yes. This was nowhere as bold and flavorful as a shrimp scampi. Just felt like spaghetti tossed with stale olive oil, with sun roasted tomatoes. It was safe but lackluster Basil gnocchi: this was a creamy umami bomb. Delicious but lacking acid.
Homemade basque cheesecake: texture was off, flavor was lackluster. The citrus sauce was interesting though.

The food was top quality but priced very reasonably and the natural wine all blended well with the dishes. The atmosphere is super cozy and relaxing - perfect to spend a nice romantic evening. So glad we finally have such a cute bistro in the neighborhood! I definitely plan on visiting again and again...
