Nice Time — Restaurant in Incheon

They are an Italian restaurant that caters to conservative Korean palate, so their Italian flavors aren’t bold.

What we ordered: Burrata appetizer: execution was plain. Not enough umami or salt. Shrimp tomato pasta: I asked if this was their take on shrimp scampi, they confirmed yes. This was nowhere as bold and flavorful as a shrimp scampi. Just felt like spaghetti tossed with stale olive oil, with sun roasted tomatoes. It was safe but lackluster Basil gnocchi: this was a creamy umami bomb. Delicious but lacking acid.

Homemade basque cheesecake: texture was off, flavor was lackluster. The citrus sauce was interesting though.

Gnocchi - sauce was really tasteful. Great. But gnocchi itself it was a little bit stiff. Felt like a little much of raw potato- not flourized was in it. Lamb shoulder stew - soft and really well harmonized with the cilantro. Nice. Eggplant - it is a cold dish. Was really good. Scent and flavor was really alive and fresh. Very nicely harmonized eggplant and lemon sauce. Really great. shrimp oil pasta is really good. No need...

By far the BEST wine bistro ever- I visited with 5 friends so we ordered just about everything on the menu and loved it ALL. The food was top quality but priced very reasonably and the natural wine all blended well with the dishes. The atmosphere is super cozy and relaxing - perfect to spend a nice romantic evening. So glad we finally have such a cute bistro in the neighborhood! I definitely plan on visiting again and again...
