Beautiful cafe with stunning geeenhouse-like atmosphere and a great selection of baked goods. But I have to agree with the previous reviewer regarding the caged birds in a tiny cage, the fish in an empty tank with no plant life or rocks and a dog tied up outside in the heat.
Not giving these animals a good environment to live In completely destroys the good feelings you get from the beautiful surroundings and food.
Please do something about this - it’s disappointing that you have responded to the previous reviewer but you still haven’t done anything to improve the situation.
Please give the birds a bigger cage so they can actually spread their wings and fly, rather than be caged like battery chickens. Please add plants and rocks in the fish tank with the fish, rather than in the tank behind the fish just for aesthetics. Please allow the dog to stay inside the cafe rather than outside on a hot and humid day..The small plastic kennel is not a good alternative as it’s even hotter inside!
These small improvements will make a world of difference to these animals for little cost, and ensure that your customers have a positive experience. I’m happy to amend my rating once you have made these changes. Thank you for your...
Read moreOne of my worst experience at a cafe. I was there at 8.30am recently, and was informed by a crew that they open at 9am. After taking a walk nearby and coming back at 9am, I proceed to take the bread from the table and waited for the crew to get ready so that we can make payment. They literally ignored us while we waited after 9am with food on our hands for about 10-15mins, and when my wife asked if we can make the purchase, the other crew rudely replied with Korean, not understanding what we want. Dude, we have your products on a plate, waiting for you to open the cafe so that we can pay, and you still have the face of being inconvenienced by us. My day tour guide had to step in to help explain to the crew what a couple with the cafe food on our hands wants to do.
Food is OK, but totally marred by this experience. If you do not speak Korean, be prepared to handle the...
Read moreA super aesthetic cafe with a stunning sea front view. There are two floors and a terrace, the ground floor has multiple cosy sections and nooks to relax in while the upstairs terrace is for larger groups on sunny days. The beautiful sea is visible from both floors and is a great companion during your time here. There are plenty of snacks, dessert, cake, and drink options here but most of them are in the sweet side (hardly any savoury options to quell the appetite) Everything is on the expensive side (9000 ₩++) compared to Jeju standards, however you’re paying for the views and ambience as well! The chocolate cupcake, iced vanilla latte, and mango smoothie were delicious and we spent about 1 hour relaxing on the bean bags looking...
