COOKHOON[쿠쿤] — Restaurant in Jeju

Cookhoon was one of the hits that came up when I googled for food places to try in Jeju.

It’s an intimate cozy space off the beaten track and they create a menu with ingredients that are in season at the time of your visit.

Cute space and decor and because it doesn’t seat a lot of people, at any one time it would fill a maximum of 10 pax. So you can really feel at ease here and relaxed.

Since there wasn’t much people at the time of our visit, the chef took a bit more time telling us more about the food he is serving.

I enjoy this kind of interaction and watching the chef cook up close is also an experience that is helpful in knowing more of what goes into the food I eat.

We did make a reservation prior to coming and there is a 20,000won charge per pax for reservation. Just make sure that you get it back after...

wow this restaurant is truly a hidden gem and I can’t recommend it enough. The menu here changes every 5 days to showcase Jeju’s seasonal ingredients. Everything is sourced from the local markets and was so fresh. While we were here, we enjoyed the sea bream, beef bourguignon and a pasta with jeju flounder. 평대해변 근처에 위치한 지중해풍의 파인다이닝.

100% 예약으로만 방문이 가능하며 음식과 와인의 조화가 아주 훌륭했던 레스토랑.

예전에는 단품 주문이 가능했었는데 최근에는 코스식으로 변경된듯.

인당 런치 45천원에 5코스, 디너 80천원에 7코스로 메뉴를 보니 좀더 밀도 있는 구성으로 가성비 좋게 즐길수 있을듯.

주문한 메뉴 모두 셰프 추천으로 먹었는데 매우 만족도가 높았으며 결국 그릇까지 빨아 먹을뻔한 슬픈 돼지의 기억이..

제주에 최근 많은 파인다이닝 및 수준 높은 레스토랑들이 많이 생기고 있는데 이곳 또한 그중의 숨은 진주가 아닐까함.
