☕️ Poongrim Dabang – famous for a reason, and that brûlée coffee… wow

This place is super well-known, so I had to visit at least once. The building exterior is beautiful, and the interior is cozy and charming.

I ordered the Poongrim Brûlée Breve – topped with vanilla bean cream – and it was amazing. Sweet at first, then a hint of bitterness at the end… totally my kind of drink. Also tried the Dutch latte, which was rich and solid, but honestly, the brûlée stole my heart. 💘

Tried a roll cake, but it tasted like something from a convenience bakery — not bad, just not special. Turns out there was a separate room next to the counter selling other baked goods, but I didn’t realize until after. Regret 😭

Great coffee flavor, gorgeous exterior, and an interesting approach on interior design. The prices are reasonable and the bakery goods are okay. However there's a very strange atmosphere inside. The names of the drinks are pretentious copies of normal drinks you likely already know. The layout inside is a bit off and the ordering process is quite possibly the most complicated and unintuitive as could be. Worst of all the service. Absolutely inexcusably bad. Like almost comedic-level bad. I kept wondering if it was an elaborate hidden camera show to see customers' genuine reaction. The three young baristas all seem miserable and they pass along that sentiment to the customers. Rude and really ruins the possibility of an otherwise could-be-cool...

오래전 평대리에 있을때 방문했다 휴무일이 아닌데 문 닫아 못간이후 더 유명해져서 이번 제주여행때 방문했어요. 우선 풍림 브뤠베 맛있어요. 요즘 유행하는 아인슈페너느낌인데 위에 올려주는 크림이 더 고급스럽고 깔끔하면서도 풍부한 맛입니다. 웨이팅 각오하고 갔는데 4팀밖에 없었고, 카톡으로 알림해준다길래 좋아라 하고 근처 1300k에 있었는데 카톡오고 1분후에 확인했는데 5분안에 안오면 취소된다고 적혀있더라구요. 아무리 가까운데라도 바로 앞 아니면 바로 못보면 5분 더 걸릴수도 있는데 10분도 아니고, 그렇다고 첨에 5분거리 안에 있으라 적거나 알려준거도 아니었구요. 친구랑 뛰어가면서 이게 뭐하는건가 기분이 좀 이상했어요. 그리고 결정적으로 맘이 상한건 화장실이었어요. 입구 반대편 문으로 나가면 작은 벤치같은게 있고 옆에 조립식 같은 한칸짜리 공용 화장실이 있는데 문이 고장이더라구요.. 잠기지 않으니 노크먼저 하라고 적혀있었는데 누군가 깜박하고 열 수도 있잖아요? 종이가 쪼글한게 하루이상 된듯했는데 남자가 와서 열까봐 조마조마했어요. 세면대나 화장실 위생도 유명한 까페라고 생각하긴 어려웠고, 저 사용전에 직원분이 쓰고 나가셨는데 휴지가 큰 쓰레기통에 가득 차 있었구요. 풍림타히티인가 브뤠베 아이스버전 생긴 후엔 테잌아웃도 엄청 나던데(가격이 8천원이던데 좀 비싼느낌!) 이렇게 장사 잘되는 유명까페가 이정도로밖에 관리가 안되나, 가게와 음식은 예쁜데 디테일한 부분에서 신경을 안쓰는건 아닌가 좀 아쉬웠습니다(미숙한거라기보단 알지만 신경안쓰는 느낌. 어차피 사람은 오니까) 간발의 차이로 커피기계 앞 협소한 바자리라 좀 아쉬웠는데 친절한 카운터 여자분이 나중에 입구가 보이는 바자리로 바꿔 주셨어요. 근데 입구가 보이니 테잌아웃 주문하고 기다리는 손님들이 넘 많아서 눈마주치니 어색했어요. 가게가 길가라 넘쳐나는 테잌아웃손님과 웨이팅 손님들이 있을곳이 좀 애매합니다. 가게 주차장도 100미터 앞이라 좀 멀구요. 가게 앞에 주차해도 되는데 중간중간 직원이 차 빼달라고 알려주어요. 자리가 부족해선지 2인이면 합석할수도 있는거 같아요. 홍차크림치즈 스콘도 맛있었는데 5천원의 가치는 좀 비싼거 같아요. 풍림브뤠베는 먹어본 크림이 올라간 커피중엔 정말 가장 맛있었지만...
