Pine Mushroom Village

This restaurant is one the best ones in Korea and they're always found in the countryside. Their speciality is pine mushrooms (song-i boseot) and they make it so perfectly well.

Their side dishes were beautifully laid out on our table. There was crispy fried mushrom with sweet sour sauce and fried sweet potatoes which were my favorites. They are all refillable from a counter in the corner. The hotpot was heaven on earth! The broth has a deep, fresh, earthy flavor. There's plenty of fresh vegetables that added texture and more flavor to it.

Yum yum yum! Really delicious meal, tempura mushrooms with lovely sauce was probably our favourite in the whole set (and lovely waitress refilled it for us, and then offered to refill for the second time!) - but obviously the cooked meat and mushrooms were also delicious. Little road entrance, lovely restaurant, luxurious food and lovely staff. This place gave the best food of our trip. The heartwarming casserole and kids friendly shabushabu filled our happy bellies! We were hanging out in the garden after the meal, and one of the staff came out and offered to take a family photo! Really good...
