놀부집항아리갈비 — Restaurant in Pyeongtaek-si

Absolutely worst place to eat. They seemed annoyed when we would ask for anything. (I.e a coke, when things ran out and we needed a refill, etc.) Our grill cover would burn and turned black and when we asked for them to exchange it out (like they are supposed to) they were bothered. Typically in these type of restaurants they come around and help cook the meat (i have had over 16 years of experience with korea so I know how jt goes) not once did come around and we were the ONLY table in the restaurant at the time so it's not like they were busy with others. This is not how you should treat any paying customers who are giving your place business. If I could give this place no stars I would absolutely do so. This place is not even worthy of this 1 star. We will not be back again and will be sure to tell our friends to steer clear of this unfriendly staff...

Normally, I run through the good, the bad, and the ugly. This one will be very bottom heavy.

The good: sides taste great.

The bad: meat is tasty but nothing exceptional. No salt or soy sauce available for the table is an interesting move. There seems to be some sort of salty miso paste that fills in alright but I’d prefer some salt on the table.

The ugly: horrible service. Took 30 minutes to get our order taken. Menus were closed and we tried making eye contact with waiters or even signaling to let them know we were ready. Then it took an hour to get waters even after reminding the waitress that we ordered a pitcher. Took probably an hour and 10 mins for my friend to...

This place has really good food. I have eaten here 3 times already and each time the food has been great. The food I always get is the trio BBQ platter dish. This is the best selection with dumpling soup. The soup this time was not great it was missing seasoning.

The atmosphere is alright but the music choice could be better and the waite staff could do better to explain how to cook the meat and use the stove. That was my only issue.

All in all the BBQ in this restaurant is great and a must try if you are...
