DelMar Boiling Crab — Restaurant in Pyeongtaek-si

Went to check this place out yesterday evening, I highly recommend stopping by and get in early enough for the blue crab. They gave plenty of food & also if you like a little kick get the spicy if not go for the mild. Unfortunately they ran out of corn & potatoes but hooked it up with extra crawfish however aside from that, I was still satisfied. The spaghetti noodles need a little love to them maybe add some of the cajun sauce/seasoning on the top for some razzle dazzle and flavor. The owner is friendly & positive and so are the staff members!! That's a big plus for me. The location isn't bad at all in the ville across from Loft 33(bar), the music was also good. Rice or noodles( spaghetti) and a soft drink, Soju & beer if you want as well, the couple's set is definitely a shareable....

Came here twice so far. The food was decent both times, however, the staffs were rather disappointing. The second time we went, the staff refused to give us scissors for the blue crabs even though the arms were hard and weren’t cracked. We ended up making a mess and decided to ask for scissors again. The staff still refused and told us scissors are only for lobsters and snow crabs. They also let us know that their staff had no problems eating blue crabs with no scissors and asked us what was the problem. The staff’s response was rather disappointing. The food was delicious! We got a couple size order, mild, and it was the perfect size for two people in my opinion, but I do recommend a side of rice or something like that. I got noodles on the side and the texture was perfect in between seafood bites and you can dip them in the seasoning!! Prepare to get messy just like in any US based seafood restaurant with a similar concept BUT it's part of the experience so just prep some napkins for your face, put on your gloves , and they have chopsticks and whatnot if you feel more comfortable.
