A reservation-only restaurant! The chef runs it with his wife as the manager. It’s such a unique and impressive feat to pull this off as just two people.
We tried the summer menu. It changes every 3 months. The thing is, in many fine dining places around the world, you get one or two impressive dishes and that’s it.
In Hermitage, the dishes were all consistently unique. Our favourite was the beef and mole, beats the mole I had in KOL, London - and the fish + curry and jalapeño. The dishes had a complexity and the chef did a great job explaining his art to us. The sweet cheese dessert was amazing too.

Read moreA very special restaurant in a intimate setting. The personal presentation by the chef with the detail and provenance of each dish really added to the experience. The dishes use local ingredients with European influences.
We felt very happy to be able to enjoy this restaurant whilst on our trip to Jeju.
They were very accommodating to my allergy and also that my husband does not speak any Korean.
