Every table seems to order the abalone rice in stone pot. There is a small margarine pot on the table for you to add to the rice. You don't need much - just run through the side of the pot and watch the margarine slide below and sizzle within. Approximately half a teaspoon- and if you like adjust accordingly but do not add more in the beginning. Do not stir the rice immediately. Allow a few minutes for the margarine to sizzle, crisp up the rice at the bottom and separate the rice bits from the stone pot. Amount of abalone is generous in this pot. Very tender.
