Sukseongdo Jungmun Branch — Restaurant in Seogwipo-si

Wow this place lit my tastebuds on fire. The combination of the meat with all of the sides they provide made the best korean bbq experience that I've ever had. So much so that we had to return twice! If you don't have a korean number just make sure to let the staff know when you enter so that they can help you to obtain a waiting number. They were all super friendly and service was excellent withthe staff cooking everything for you and recommending how best to eat the meat. The only slight downside I would say is that we felt slightly pressured to try their more "signature" (and more expensive) bone in options when we were happy to go for the boneless options that had been aged for a little less time. Personally, I tried a variety of their meats from the most expensive option to the cheaper options and they all tasted fantastic so I would recommend going for the cheap boneless options. Absolutely not to be missed if you are in jeju city...

Recommended to this KBBQ place by a local from our chocolate hunt, and enjoyed every single bite of our meal here! 👍🏻

⏰ we arrived around 5:30pm on a weekday evening and didn’t had to queue for more than 10 minutes

🅿️ do slow down prior to reaching the destination as it’s a quick turn into the restaurant directly, where there’s roughly 20 parking lots in the area

🥩 ordered the sirloin, shoulder and neck - and all of them were truly awesome! I especially love the shoulders as they were the juiciest bit.. They were all aged meat, and you could see those the moment you enter the restaurant!

🍲 The complimentary soup was also amazing, with lots of pork slices in there alongside some vegetables and tofu, thoroughly enjoyed those as well!

Do consider making a reservation or go during off peak hours to avoid the queue, which is on any case...

Beware!! The the main branch store that you place your number and the sub branch store that they might send you have different menus. We waited 2.5 hours to eat the menu that is on the website and the branch store where they sat us had a completely different menu. When asked to move to the main branch store they said that they had no seats and we would have to wait again.

No posting anywhere regarding the two different menus nor stating that if you register at the main branch there is even a mention of a sub branch.

I understand that they have two stores because it is so busy, but there is no reason that we have to wait all over again for the food that they have posted on their website and without having anything up regarding this situation. Photos shows the...
