To my fellow FOREIGN foodies: Not recommended! -

In short: Missing side dishes overpriced meal if it comes to the potion size, „false advertised dishes“ if it was not just an excuse, felt not welcome as a foreigner.

Long: We’ve been to this place (German Exchange students) twice with mixed experiences. Once with a fellow ‚asian‘ friend and the other time on our own. The food is generally good but as we went foreigners the waitress/chef tried to scam us real good. She noticeably used the language barrier to her advantage. We did not receive all our side dishes to a meat dish MENU where you already have to order 2 portions to order it anyway (Understandable but portion size was really ‚undercalculated‘ for 2 people). After some failed attempts to communicate with her we asked the native guests next to us to help us get our point across.

She did not react to us at all and after some back and forth with the other guests she brought the ADVERTISED side dishes (soup and rice) that were missing. The excuse was that it is only the meat with KimChi and Onions and the „picture is just for illustration purposes“.

This was really our first bad experience near SSU as foreigners. This did not seem like „a bad day“- excuse because the other guests were treated very differently. Therefore the Service gets one star.

Ambient is generally chill and everything is clean. Just the Service affected this score as well.

To all international guests,

During my stay in Seoul, I unfortunately encountered an unhappy situation that I would like to share. My friend and I ordered a meal tonight in the restaurant, but regrettably, the complete dish was not served. We had ordered a meat dish with soup and rice, but only the meat was delivered without the accompanying sides. The menu depicted the dish visually and mentioned underneath that sides like rice and soup were included. We were charged 13000 WON per person, yet we had to order this dish "twice" since it was served on a single plate. This resulted in a total charge of 26000 Won for a rather small amount of food for two people, especially without the sides.

When we brought the missing items to the attention of the waitress, unfortunately, we were blatantly ignored and not taken seriously. Despite our efforts to gain her attention, she responded dismissively and left us to ourselves. In our desperation, we sought help from other guests, as the language barrier seemed to be exploited. After much discussion and statements like "The rice in the picture is for illustration purposes only," even though the menu stated otherwise, she reluctantly brought rice and soup. However, this was portrayed as a gesture of goodwill on her part.

In summary, I cannot recommend this restaurant, especially to international guests. It seems evident that there was an attempt to take advantage of us, and the price was not proportional to the delivered dish. The experience was disappointing and leaves a...

The food we ordered was very little and the side dishes that were on the menu were not brought to us. When we pointed this out to the waitress, she acted as if it wasn't part of the dish.
