This place has been running since I was a child, probably even before then. It's amazing that they have provided the same simple menu to the locals and the people from other areas for this long. I can not say the cooking area is nice to see. Would be much better if they could partly block the cooking area. I waited for 20-25 minutes to take out my order. One person was cleaning floors and prep/dish counter while cooking the chicken simultaneously. That wasn't a pleasant view for a waiting customer. The seating area was fully packed with people having their drink with chicken. Loud and raw place as old as it is old. Next time, I will call them for my order and pickup when it's ready instead.
As for the chicken, it is the best fried chicken in authentic korean style. Not salty, pure chicken that is fried all the way in fresh oil. My family and I enjoyed the sauce, which is very different from the sauce at other places. It's watery and tastes not too sugary or overpowering but just has its own flavor.
