Burger Guru 72 — Restaurant in Seoul

I was excited to have a burger but ended with a salad burger.

We ordered the O.B cheeseburger which comes in a brioche bun with cheese, onion ring, bacon, tomato, lettuce and sauce and I got a set with onion rings and a soda.

We also ordered the garlic lover's cheeseburger which has garlic parmesan cheese, mozzarella, spinach, lettuce and tomato on a brioche bun and we got sweet potato fries to go with that.

I have never seen so much salad on a burger to a point where I took out the lettuce and tomato and it filled a bowl that could have been sold as a side salad. There was just way too much and it took away the flavour of the beef patty which was small and hard to find amongst the salad in my burger. The bun is too big for the size of the burger patty so I guess they compensate the space with a load of salad.

When I think of a burger I'm expecting a nice juicy and greasy burger which should be the main attraction but the show was stolen by the salad that was in my burger.

run-of-the-mill korean burger joint. i actually tried this place right when they first opened years ago and they didn't have the kitchen appliances or most of the menu items ready, despite being open. not sure what kind of first impression they wanted to leave when we were told they can serve only two items off the entire menu. the cheeseburger i got was sub-par. not sure why "handmade" burgers are so popular in this country but...

He dropped it on the kitchen floor, picked it up, wiped it on his apron or pants, and proceeded to continue to cut the bun in half. We told them to cancel the order and we left.
