Hwangtae World (양천골 용대리 황태세상) — Restaurant in Seoul

If you are in Korea visiting the botanical garden and hungry I definitely recommend stopping at Hwangtae World. The food here is very organic and you can't find the same flavors in Los Angeles, CA. I have had the Hwangtae Soup, Hwangtae Rice Cake Soup, House Special Hotpot + Hwangtaeworld pancake always followed by the side dishes..how I miss the flavors. The people who work ata the restaurant are kind, patient and helpful. I have been here at least 7 times from 2016-2019. 황태탕이 10,000원 인데, "황태목욕탕"으로 불러야 맞다. 황태가 목욕한 국물에 콩나물만 잔뜩 넣었지, 정작 황태는 담배 길이 정도의 가느다란 네가닥만 있었다.

국물 맛은 보통 설렁탕집의 구수한 맛에 약간의 황태 맛만 날 뿐이었다. 아마도 황태 국물 다시다 같은 것과 우유를 넣지 않았나 하는 생각도 들었다.

물론 요새 고물가를 감안해도 너무 하지 않았나 할 정도로 실망스러웠다.
