Great place to enjoy Chinese version's fried chicken. Please order 'Guobaorou' which is deep-fried chicken in hot pepper sauce. If it is hard to pronounce, please show this word '꿔바로우' to waitress there. The hot pepper sauce is quite unique and has strong scent, so be careful if you are trying it for the first time. 호남볶음밥 먹으러 갔는데, 맛있었다. 양주볶음밥도 아닌 호남볶음밥을 먹으러 ㅎㅎ. 호남은 중국 후난성을 말한다. 이곳은 요리로 유명한 곳이다. 사천요리, 광동요리처럼. 호랑이담배피던 시절, 대학원 생활을 하던 곳에 후난이라는 중국집이 있었다. 근데 맛이 미국중국요리 맛이 아니라 한국 중국요리 맛이 나서 이상했는데, 알고보니 사장님이 대만계 화교이신데 한국에서 식당을 하셨었나보다. 근데 이분 아버지나 어머니 둘중에 한분은 백인이었는지, 서양인 외모를 하고 계셨다. 그러니 이분이 우리에게 한국말로 이야기를 하시니 얼마나 반갑고 놀라웠는지. 여하간 그 다음부터 짬뽕 짜장 탕수육 등 한국 중국요리를 주문받아주셨다. 게다가 저렴한 가격으로. 그때 가끔 후난 볶음밥을 서비스로 내주셨는데, 그냥 그 맛이 그리웠다.
