여수맛집횟집 — Restaurant in Yeosu-si

I heard this place was famous for raw marinated crabs and galchi jorim (spicy braised fish) so I decided to give this a try.

The raw marinated crabs came out in two flavours - soy and spicy. I had the option to choose what kind of crabs I wanted and I went with the small types as I was recommended this had sweeter meat and less fishy smell. The crabs were absolutely delicious.

The braised fish came in a rich spicy broth with radish and other vegetables simmered together. I think this was my favourite.

Note there is no English menu so I would recommend just showing them photos from Google review to order...

i wish i could give it 0 stars, but that’s not even possible. that’s how bad this place is. if you’re visiting korea, do not go to this place. it is a waste of your time, the food is so mid, the service was so bad too. the food we ordered were in such little portions, and it wasn’t even good. there was a lack of people working there, only 2, so it was a mess. they also got some of our orders wrong. i don’t know how that place was reviewed good by the tv show when everything was so bad. it was definitely fake. so expensive for such bad...
