So disappointing after reading previous posts. The surrounds, although inviting and sumptuous, were not able to prevail due to the funeral parlour ambiance . The house red was like vinegar and when questioned was met with a haughty glare and clear distain. We were treated like lepers after this encounter. The risotto was delicious, the steak supremely dry and boring, the quail stubbornly tough- really? A very poor showing. The three of us were overcharged ( paid for three breads and although not asked for- consumed only two) and left without even acknowledgment from our one and...

Stay away from this place. Awful treatment, I hope they will close their business and stop the apartheid. I went there a few days ago and was doubting whether to leave a bad comment or not. After all, people should know. Do not expect respect or a welcoming smile. They treated us worse than ever in my life. I wish them to get what they deserve in their business....

Incredibly cosy and tightly fitted spot for locals, serving homestyle cooking with a bit of Michelin recommended vibes at the same time.

We had the octopus croquettes, a curious and delicious taste, the usual Iberico ham, the fish of the day (Seabass, was good but nothing special), and beef in truffle sauce. The sauce was great, even if the beef itself wasn't that exciting.

Good selection of wines, and ambiance is great. All the locals were eating the grill yourself beef, so perhaps go...

Recommended for (food)lovers! If you want to eat culinary and delicious in a warm homely atmosphere, this restaurant is recommended. Situated behind an old little church, Casa Abilio is located right in the center of one of the white villages of Andalusia, Álora. The menu is clear and (thank goodness) pleasantly limited. We enjoyed four courses and each dish is very tasteful. The prices are above average for the area, but it is worth it. The people behind Abilio make it happen.
