If you deem a Pizza at the price of an Italian restaurant in Germany's Cologne City center adequate, this might be worth it.
The location is pleasant, the interior decent. Pizza was good, if one was to overlook the fact that "fresh cherry tomatoes" for us would have to translate to more than two halves. Lasagne okay. The Tapas were horrible though, burnt noodles that I would not have forked out, if I were the chef and had "Love" as my credo. What would justify higher beer prices than anywhere else in town will remain a mystery to me.
Add: Since I received a reply. It may well be that food prices differ. But folks, may I draw your attention to the difference of rental cost and wages? I understand a loving reply in terms of public relations, content wise it seems obsolete to me. And "with cherry tomatoes" simply does not translate to "one cherry tomato", nowhere and in no language. Besides, what may have been the oh so costly ingredients in my Lasagne?
I am tempted to reduce to two stars, but then, it wasn't bad, nor have I...
Read moreLet me begin positive. The food is good. However, this night we encountered a piece of plastic in the pizza that my girlfriend and son were sharing. I told the waiter I did not want to pay for the pizza, but this was unacceptable for the owner of the place. He did offer a beer and to have us pay half of the pizza, but I truly do not want to pay for a pizza that contains a piece of plastic. This for me is not negotiable, even more so because there is a child involved that can choke in this. In the end we were presented with the bill on which everything was charged, also the pizza with the plastic inside. After quite a heavy discussion in which the owner told us that we can never come back there if we don't pay, we left leaving the money minus the plastic pizza. All in all a very unpleasant evening with a very rigid and unresponsible response of the owner in...
Read moreBest restaurant in Orgiva. Up a winding street. Private and such a nice friendly ambiance. Feels like a hidden corner in Spain/France/Italy. Lovely staff. Such a friendly waitress and waiter. Very charming and they remembered us each time we came. Sangria was to die for and had us retiring often. Delicious food with an incredible menu. Lots of good vegan options as well. Best hamburger I have had in a while. Just a great variety of choices that felt authentic and made with love and the perfect balance of healthy and delicious. Such a wonderful place and one I’ll return to and not stop...
