We went on recommendation of our tour guide on somewhere locals would eat that is also reasonably priced. We went late afternoon and were seated immediately. I would choose a table at the edges of the wall because our server kept bumping into ours. We asked for recommendations for how many dishes to order. The portions are huge so whatever you think, lessen it by a dish unless you plan to take it away. We ordered the full plates, meant to be shared by 2 but can be easily shared by 3 or 4 if you are not big eaters. We had octopus, paella, steak with potatoes and house salad. We didn't and couldn't finish the paella. I found it the least tastiest of what we got. We also got a basket of bread which was very generous in portion. My daughter, the picky one tried the steak and potatoes but nothing else. The rest of us enjoyed ourselves with the food. Would recommend and if in the neighborhood, we would return. Good portions at...

The best place to get ocutpus in Galicia, downtown. The full portions (1/1 raciones) are quite small but that's fine, prices are acceptable. Desert is a must - lean on to the cheesecake, avoid the grandma cake! Unfortunately in terms of hygiene I've noticed staff wasn't very careful, for ages they didn't clean their hands. Adding to that, I had to clean my plate with a napkin, it came gross on top and back.

Have in mind that lunch time in Spain starts around 1 ish pm and supper from 8 ish pm onwards. It's useless to turn up early to...
