Tasca Los Berrazales — Restaurant in Agaete

Do NOT go here!! I don't often write reviews but this is the worst I've ever been treated in my life at a restaurant.

It looked like a cute, authentic restaurant, beautifully located, but the waiter was terribly rude. The only word he said to us was "drink?" and he looked angry at us everytime we asked something. Everything took ages while it wasn't busy, the glasses were dirty, the food was thrown on the table and: my friend ordered chicken but the waiter brought her pork "because he didn't had chicken left" and he got grumpy when she said she didn't eat pork! Seriously?! She said she wanted something else and asked how long it would take: 5 minutes he said. After half an hour my other friend and I had finished our food and had to leave to return our car. We went to the bar to pay and found out he charged us the food my friend didn't get, bread and aioli which he trew on the table and we didn't ask for and above all: he charged SERVICE. Are you kidding me? We asked if he could remove the food from the bill which we didn't have but he wouldn't. We got in a discussion for a very long time but he wouldn't. Only after we said we would leave or call the police he changed the bill.

I had a fried dead fly in my dish. They blamed it on me even though it was cooked, shrivelled and burnt and they refused to claim it as theirs.

They charged us still for the food and never offered a new one and I was left sat without my food. Calamri was so chewy and plastic.

Fish was so plain and tasteless and the salad was dry. The server was rude and dismissive of our requests and the food was dirty and salad had mud and dirt in it.

They charged us extra for things we didnt even ask for and they refused to remove it. They gave us 'free' bread and we asked if it was free he said 'yes, its free with the calamari' and charged us an extra euro for each bread. He refused to remove the price at the end for the extra cost as well as the burnt fly. Bad service and...

I think that we found the rudest and rather embarrassingly, the most incompetent waiter in all the Canaries! We arrived at 3pm wanting a late snack lunch. The venue wasn’t busy, and most tables had finished lunch. However to the young man charged to serve us, it was mad panic rush hour! He very rudely dismissed an OAP asking for his bill, then kept telling us how frantic he was, as we gingerly ordered some drinks! I asked for some menus - to which he angrily pointed at the napkin dispenser, where there was a rather dog eared picture of QR code. Waited almost 10 minutes for our simple drinks to turn up, and still hadn’t.I’d had enough, and just walked out. Nothing else was open, so we ended up, starving! with a McDonalds once we reached Las Palmas! Avoid...
