Dining out nowadays is more about the experience than the food only, let's face it you can cook for yourself a lot cheaper. That said we booked at this restaurant for my wife's birthday for a special occasion, as it was highly rated, NOT TRUE. Firstly we waited over an hour for the first starter to arrive, another 20min for the second starter, and another 15min for the remaing two starters, just to be told that making a Paella takes time, however Paella was not part of the straters? My son received his starter last, and didn't even got halfway before he got his main course, and so the wait for the rest of the main courses repeated. Bad service is one thing, but bad food is unacceptable. I nearly gave two stars as some of the food was good, by that I mean average for the price. My wife and I ordered the crayfish paella, which was almost too salty to eat, and I'm positive the crayfish was cooked the day before, and all that for 52 euros, you can get a better paella at the local market for under 7 euros, but remember we ate at this restaurant for the experience. Also the prawns was not cleaned properly (see picture attached). What really got to me was that we never felt this under appreciated and under valued at any restaurant before, not even at well known take away restaurants. 182 euros wasted, which was supposed to be a special evening, you'll never see me again, and I hope that this will be a warning to others!

My bf’s friend Javi highly recommend this restaurant. This location is BEAUTIFUL and with great views and a nice breeze. We sat inside because we weren’t sure if it was going to rain but it sure did clear up. For appetizers: Patatas Bravas - done right! Fries are cooked to perfection and the alioli is so tasty Seafood salad - one of my favorites - nice big slices of octopus and vinaigrette seasoned peppers. Sepionet Grilled - This is the biggest squid I’ve seen served at a restaurant. It wasn’t too chewy and the green sauce on it taste great. Complimentary - the brought out sliced tomato with slim sliced tuna - I was not a fan of this. By the time the Valencian Paella came, I was so stuffed but I managed to finish my plate. This typical Valencian paella includes chicken, huge white beans (I forget what they’re called), and green beans. It was a bit too salty for my palette but other than that, everything was so good! Definitely recommend coming here if you're in Valencia!!

Según a la contestación del jefe a la reseña, como esta no le ha gustado, me veo obliglada a especificar que en ningún momento he ido a malas, simplemente esperábamos que el trato hacia nosotros fuese un poco más profesional y SI, Se le preguntaron las verdades al anfitrión como usted dice en la contestación a la reseña por él no iba a poner nada pero veo que debido a y la conclusión fue que la paella para 27 era de 20, pasada por culpa de no saber que los entrantes se sirven antes de la paella y por lo tanto hay que echar el arroz después de servir los entrantes, que se contrató el postre que era fruta fresca y no fue servido quizá porque ese día lo único que tenían fresco era la cara,que a pesar de estar horrenda por no tener ningún sabor nos la hubiésemos comido aún estando el arroz para falcar tabiques y a pesar de los cerca de 17€ por cabeza nos cobraron también querían cobrar aparte la paella de 200€ .. No son nada profesionales, solo les importa el dinero y no saben aceptar que han metido la pata hasta el cuello, el local estaba vacío y la terraza se mi, una mesa que entró a comer una fideua, se fueros sin comerla ya que se quejaron de que estaba cruda... ¿Quien tiene que informarse de que? .... El local es inmejorable, luz, ubicación... Los camareros y el dueño hasta recibir alguna crítica,agradables, pero la cocina y la organización muy escasa... Eran las 14,30h y habíamos reservado para esa hora, pero cuando es un grupo grande, no siempre todos son puntuales, ellos sabían que de 27,solo habíamos llegado 5, aún así el cocinero echó el arroz porque decía que se había reservado para las 14,30h y la paella no podía retrasarse y eso que aún tenían que servir todos los aperitivos... Aún así dijimos que bueno, aunque tuviésemos que comer más tarde no pasaba nada... Sirvieron los aperitivos, unas cloxinas muy buenas y patatas bravas y ensalada, cuando sacaron la paella pudimos observar, que no tienen ni idea de cocina, aunque echen el arroz antes de tiempo, se deja al dente y aunque se sirva fría, no se pasa, hoy en día hay arroces muy buenos para esos casos y cocineros que por poco que sepan cocinar, lo saben... Cuando sacó la paella, a pesar de que estaba pasada por haberla hecho con antelación, no tenía sabor a nada, solo sabía a almidón y parecía que habían estado escarbando en ella, el que servía tenía que pegar paletazos para despegar el arroz de la paleta con la que servía ... Aunque hubiese estado pasado, si tiene sabor, nos la hubiésemos comido... Nos hicieron de nuevo la paella, aunque salió en su punto, siguió siendo un arroz mezclado con romero de bote, no sirvieron ni el postre, del precio, ni hablamos ... Una pena para el lugar donde está hubicado. Y una pena que no sepan aceptar que se han equivocado.
