El Chiringuito — Restaurant in Algorfa

If I could give this rating a big 0 I would, owners husband and wife are extremely rude and patronising, they were unable to keep up with the the amount of people as its only the two of them working whilst doing everything, however no excuse. We ordered a portion of croquettes which came out burnt, a portion of gambas al ajillo ( they were good but not authentic Spanish) and two breaded chicken breast ( also ok but not great for my child as they layer it with sea salt chunks) we also ordered the “ tradinitonal Spanish salad “ absolutely terrible, tomato was still green, the tuna was rock solid etc. when trying to speak to the owner and his wife, they told me that I don’t know what I’m talking about and it’s because I didn’t want to pay for it, ridiculous as it’s only €12 😂 instead of asking to replace it or how to make it better. I am Spanish my self but my children are husband are slightly darker and in my personal oppinion he thought we were Spanish gypsies and therefore just didn’t want to pay, when in reality I just wanted a kind gesture or even a resolution ( a NEW one not a FREE one ). Called in last week on Saturday night about 8.15pm, I asked to see the menu and the barman said they were closing, so went and ordered a couple of glasses of wine and sat outside. Whilst we were there, we saw about up to 20 (twenty) customers arrive and sat at various tables to be served and I'm sure they hadn't reserved, as they all just walked up in dribs and drabs. This place is typical Spanish, the staff are friendly, food great and Sunday dinner with over a 100 Spaniards is a great way to really immerse yourself. A lot of complaints on here about service and attitude.
