Korma Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Alhaurín el Grande

Lived in Spain for 13 years!!! This is the most authentic Indian restaurant I have ever tasted!! Just like having an Indian from back home !! Freshly cooked starters! The curry(I had chicken bhuna) is full of flavour and not greasy! So light and you feel good after you have eaten it!! Naan is so fresh and cooked to perfection. The rice is hot and cooked perfect and tastes amazing!! The only negative I have is it’s an hour drive a way from my house and I wished it was local because I could eat at this restaurant everyday!! But it’s worth the hours drive!! Aj the owner is so polite and professional and goes above and beyond to ensure you have an enjoyable experience from the moment you sit down!! The price of everything we had too I thought was really good and not expensive for what we had!! Will definitely return!! The best Indian restaurant around!!

We’ve eaten in Korma a couple of times and had several takeaways. In that time, we have found the restaurant to be consistently excellent. The food is fresh, bright, perfectly cooked and annoyingly moreish.

The restaurant’s high quality ingredients are handled with obvious care. Sauces have a genuine depth of flavour, and they really know what they are doing with a tandoor: you will not find better shashlik (tandoori chicken) in the area. I’m having a lamb rogan josh phase at the moment, and Korma’s is outstanding. Even the pilau rice has you sending your spoon back for another go, with or without sauce.

This small region around the two Alhauríns, Coín, and Cártama is well catered for with good South Asian restaurants, and Korma might just be the jewel in the crown. We’ll be going back sooner...

We took a friend here for dinner last night and had a fantastically good taste experience. As big curry fans, we’ve been very lucky to have gained 3 new restaurants in our local area in the last 12 months. Korma is an authentic ‘Indian’ restaurant, where the others cook to Bangladeshi or Pakistani methods, all having their own strengths, but for me the richness in the Indian base sauce recipe is superb. It’s rich & has depth that’s right up there! I hope I’m delivering a message that the food at Korma is a treat you must give a go, you so won’t regret it!
