5 Stars – Always a Brilliant Experience
We’ve been coming here for years and it’s consistently excellent. The food is fresh, full of flavour, and properly made. The nachos are delicious– we get them every time, and they never disappoint. Pair them with a margarita or a Chelada beer and you’re set! We love dropping in for a drink and a bite – it’s relaxed, easy-going, and exactly the kind of place you want to spend time in.
There’s a great energy to the place – casual but clearly run with care and pride. Karl looks after front of house – Irish, sound, full of personality, always makes you feel at home. His wife, who’s Mexican, does all the cooking and the food is always great!
They also make their own salsas, which are fantastic – fresh, spicy, full of depth. We’ve brought jars home more than once. They’re that good! Love them and well done guys!
Everything just clicks – the food, the people, the atmosphere. We’ve always had a great time here and it’s an easy place to recommend. Thanks again, and best of luck!

I have only been to Mexico once, albeit for a very short time. I did manage to cram quite a bit of food in. This is by far the best Mexican food I have tasted since that visit!
Carl (the Irish part of the partnership) is really friendly, very helpful and is perfect for front of house. He and his staff made it a very pleasurable evening.
The food was amazing, both the tortillas and burritos were something special, as were the rack of ribs!
Top marks all around, the staff are great, the setting is really nice, for the standard of food and service, I would say it is very inexpensive.
The food wins the prize though, it’s outstanding and to say it is plentiful is an understatement. When my burrito arrived, I didn’t know whether to eat it or climb it!
Mexology is pretty special. The next time we are in the area it is high on the list of...

Dining at Mexology was a delightful experience from start to finish. The food was exceptional, the staff were so attentive, and the ambiance was absolutely perfect for a cozy evening.
Situated on Calle Gerald Brenan, in Alhariun el Grande it is without doubt a hidden gem for aesthetic Mexican food lovers.
A 30 minutes taxi drive from the centre of Malaga, I strongly recommend a visit by all locals and international travellers.
It definitely is a place you MUST try and you will enjoy a wonderful relaxing time - I certainly will be back.
Well Done to the Mexology for a 5...
