One of the worst experience here in Alicante. We came all the way up walking for 30mins to eat since there were barely buses and taxi at all. We called them 45 mins before deciding to eat there and for 4 times yet no one answered. We arrived at the area and the waitress said they’re full and told me could’ve called before to make the reservation BUT NONE OF MY CALLS WERE ANSWERED. Arrived at 13:00 and said they have a table for 15:45 and expect us to wait outside under a scorching heat.
Their excuse of not answering is nor our problem. There is a reason why you have a telephone, is to answer the damn calls but they are not professional enough to even answer at least one of the calls!

Their menu del dia was amazing, absolutely everything was delicious....

The place was crowded with locals Sunday afternoon and we got a 3:30 seat. We ordered the rabbit and snail paella, as well as a paella Alicante which is chicken and seafood. Highly recommend! This place is an authentic arroceria that does not serve dinner, and closes at 5:30 pm or so. Paella is traditionally a lunch...
